Hi,

I just saw an issue when I choose to go to a specific product category page from a link somewhere in the site (I mean not going to shop>choosing a category with WOOF filter). For example, if I have chosen to go to category1 page with category1 products listed, but each of those products also has category2 and category3/category4 chosen from the Categories list in the product edit page.

When I go to that page, I can only see the price and some other activated filters, but not the Categories filter. I expect to see the Categories filter drop-down with the category2 and category3/category4 listed in it because category1 products also have these other categories. Why is this happening? Is there something wrong?

Though when I choose to go to category5 products, and this category has subcategories, now it shows the Category filter with those subcategories in it. This is good.

So, can you please explain why this is happening and if it is something that can be fixed? Thanks.

Hello

On the category(taxonomy) page, the filter shows only child categories(taxonomies)
 This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products   )
Unfortunately this behavior cannot be changed.
