I use the WOOF filter also to show the categories on the website.
If I filter with there then the hierarchical structure remains intact, which is what my client wants.
Now the problem is that when you click on a category in de webshop rather than in the filter, the filter will only show the sub categories or when there are non, it shows nothing.
Is there an option to show the category hierarchy also when you click on the category in the shop?
I gave the login in the private section.

On the category(taxonomy) page, the filter shows only child categories(taxonomies)
This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products )

Here you have the default category widget from woocommerce.
When you press a category on the picture you can still switch with the widget.
Why is this not possible with WOOF?

Because WOOF is a filter for filtering products.
What you are describing is a menu - navigation to other pages.
