I figured it out select the ones you want to change select BINDED EDITING change the category you would like to apply and that it.

Yes, you can use binded editing, or you can firtsly filter products by criteria and set new data you need. BEAR works in 2 ways: first one is the classic with checkbox selecting as you did and its fine, and second one using filtering as targeting to the products you want to change
