The scenario –

I have created a filter for shop on shop page. The filter menu for example has :

Clothes – under clothes you can select – Dresses, Tops, Trousers, Shirts etc

Colour – under colour you can select – Red, Blue, Yellow, Green etc

Size: Under size you can select – X-Large, Large, Medium, Small etc

Problem: When a customer is using the filter and wants to look at red clothes, they would select “Red” from the colour Category, and you will see all the Red clothes (this works correctly with plugin), but lets say the customer wants to view all Red and Green clothes, so the go back to filter but it doesn’t allow you to select more than one colour. Why can’t you select as many filter options as you like (like most other websites), then close then ones you no longer what to look at?

Also let say I filter, i.e red clothes, then on another filter options it say i.e on category size, says you have 3 items in size small, then when you click on it, it then says no items, meaning no red items in size small. But it just said 3 items? That's very confusing. Then when I reset it and filter clothes on size, and select small, I see the 3 items. See very weird and confusing and not suitable for a business website unless there is something I am doing wrong.

Please help as I need a filter that works and can't run a shop website if filters don't work. I have also had the same problem with two other plugins, is there anyone who can help? I have visited other websites and look at their filters and their ones work just fine.
