Can i create two filters to use on one website ?

Hello.
Can i create two filters to use on one website ?
For example i need one short filter to use on front page, it should include 'product in stock', 'product on sale', and one meta filter. I need to display it horizontally.
Second filter i need for inner pages, it should display much more filter options and will be dispayed  vertically in side column.
