Somewhere between Version 3.3.4.1 & Version 3.3.5.3,  your plugin started having a conflict with the search results page....

It seems you didn't review the video I sent properly.  I'm not talking about your Text search - none of the website use that features. In the video, I'm using the search bar in the menu, not in your plugin.

I watched your video carefully. And I understood you after the first message (thanks for the video, it helps a lot).  And provided you with the answer and recommendations in the previous message.  Please follow these guidelines.

Yes you are right, you are not using our plugin's text filter. But for the correct compatibility of two filters, our plugin intercepts the search query and processes it. For this reason, the text filter settings (even if it is not displayed in the filter form) affect the standard text search. About this - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240917130929.png -  Each page in WordPress themes has its own template: archive, page, search, etc.( This refers to old (classic) themes )   Please note that you have many different sidebars and these sidebars are displayed in different templates of different pages (this depends on the theme). - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240917131458.png And the sidebar with my filter widget seems to be displayed in the shop template -  https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240917131043.png But the problem is that the standard text search redirects to another page with a different template and different sidebar . And if you delete my plugin this behavior will not change

You seem to be missing the pointAll of these websites were working before I updated your plugin. The beachside Lighting website is still working because I did not update your plugin.

So clearly when you created a new version of your plugin, there was a bug.  And none of your communication helps me in any way.  Here is a screenshot of the text filter settings which are the same default settings for all 3 sites.  If something needs to change within these settings for it to work properly then I would think you could tell me. .  All 3 sites are set up the same way using the Avada theme builder, Woocommerce and your plugin.  You also have access to the YardArt site so why aren't you investigating the issue instead of sending me screenshots?

No disabling the plugin on YardArt did not display a different sidebar. It removed the sidebar as you can see here.

As for Naris I added 'by_text' to the Forcing disabling of functionality and it is now working correctly, though you still didn't answer my previous question regarding this.

Adding 'by_text' did not fix the issue on this site, after I updated to the latest version of your plugin.

The difference in text search between the old and new version - the new version has text search enabled by default

 

If your new plugin has text search enabled by default, why wouldn't you inform your customers?  How would we know unless our clients complain?  That's not very helpful to us.

As for YardArt, this is already a staging site. I've backed up the site and no one will touch it until you have resolved the issue.  Please make sure you provide a list of any and all changes you've made.

Again you had full access to the site 2 weeks ago and could have pointed out the code then that needed to be removed.   Plus, your comment had failed to mention that you had changed default plugin settings without letting your customers know.  So making this code change would NOT have solved anything until you had made that known.  The only reason we added that code is because we found after test that your plugin greatly slows down our site unnecessarily.

This issue is now finally fixed.
