Hi,

I'm using the plugin to create a page where people can see only the items on sale.

However, due to variations, the page has more items than the shop page and the plugin is creating pages with broken canonical links.

For example if you go here: https://www.thebagbroker.com/au/shop/page/4/?swoof=1&onsales=salesonly the link rel canonical is https://www.thebagbroker.com/au/shop/page/4 which basically doesn't exist and returns a 404 error.

Is there a way around this?

Thank you.

Hello

unfortunately it doesn't depend on my plugin.

You made incorrect settings.

It is bad practice to use links with GET requests(May cause SEO problems)

To make a discount page:

Please  create custom  page  with  shortcode [woo_products]  and  - https://products-filter.com/manipulate-search-data-options/  In  your  case - $request['onsales'] = 'salesonly';

And it's also very strange that the shop page has fewer products than the discount page.

Hi,

thank you for the reply.

I think the reason why the filtered page has more products is because the variations. In the"search" I try to show the products as single products while on the shop page it shows as combined variations.

In the link you posted, how would I need to edit it for specific pages to show specific filtered items? Like:

Page ="www.something.com/material_white"

Filter: Material attribute = white

Page="www.something.com/material_black

Filter = material attribute = black

Noted your suggestion, will start creating pages.

Hello

Use  is_page() - https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_page/

an example

if_page('material_black'){  //or  use  ID

$request['pa_color'] = 'black';

}
