Binded Editing for Thumbnails Not Working

Hello,
About a week or so ago for some reason the binded editing for thumbnails stopped working correctly. Usually I can choose multiple variations, click on the binded editing switch, and then just choose one thumbnail image that will populate all variations selected. But now when I do this it only applies it to one variating, ignoring the others that I have selected. Thanks in advance for your help.
