Quote from JonasK on April 1, 2025, 14:40I’m experiencing an issue with Bear Bulk Editor displaying product prices in the local currency (USD) instead of the base store currency (EUR). Initially, the editor was showing the base price in EUR, but suddenly, it switched to showing USD.
- My store’s base currency is EUR, and I use Aelia Currency Switcher for multi-currency support.
- Previously, Bear Bulk Editor displayed prices in EUR, allowing me to update the base price, which would then convert to USD and other currencies automatically (through Currency Switcher Plugin).
- Now, the editor is showing USD prices instead, making it difficult to update the base EUR price from Bear Bulk.
- I haven’t knowingly changed any settings in Aelia Currency Switcher or Bear Bulk Editor.
Is there a setting for this, or why is Bear Bulk Editor fetching the converted local prices instead of the base currency?
Got this message back from the plugin developers: I checked our internal documentation for similar issues. We haven't come across the editor you mentioned before, unfortunately we wouldn't know how it works. If it was showing the correct prices before, and now it doesn't, I would recommend to reach out to the authors of that plugin. If the Bear Editor was able to integrate with the Currency Switcher, then it should still do that. We haven't made any change on our side that could possibly have affected an existing integration. If the plugin's authors have any questions for us, they can also contact us directly. I don't think we've ever had the chance of talking to them before, we would be more than happy to review an integration and ensuring that it keeps working reliably.

I'm sure if you disable this third party currency plugin everything will work fine. Honestly, I was very surprised by their answer. Our plugin shows prices in the admin panel and their plugin affects prices (changes them) and as a result the problem is on our side.
For testing, you can try another plugin for switching currencies. I doubt the problem will repeat with another plugin
Our plugin uses the standard functionality of woocommerce to display prices and unfortunately we do not know how to disable the functionality of this third-party plugin that changes prices ( Because we are not the authors of this code. )
The first idea is to ask the author of this third-party plugin to disable price conversion on the admin page.
Sorry for this inconvenience, I don't like to redirect users with problems. But really I don't know what we can do from our side to disable the functionality of this third-party plugin
