I've looked through the forum posts to try and work this out myself but to no avail.

We use the Avada theme and created custom product archive pages for each one of our categories. If we do this, even though the filter displays correctly the results are not, you can see Ajax working but it refreshes to the exact same results.

If i was to remove the custom pages so that the generic display shows the filter works fine, i'm guessing this is some kind of hook which isn't applying to the custom pages? I've tried the shortcodes which is pointless as it displays the same as the generic view, not the custom.

The website is currently on 'coming soon', so i would need to give you admin details somehow?

Hello

You can add  any  private data here - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134241.png ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134615.png

Thanks just done that. If you go into Avada -> Layouts you will see the custom shop layouts with the rules per category. Let's use"Custom Shop - Wine Category" and the content of"Shop Content for Wine Category", you'll see by pressing the edit when it takes you to the backend builder, in there notice the postcards, this is what allows us to create custom product grids, text on product view etc. Like this the page displays exactly how we want but the filter isn't working.

If we unlinked the"Shop Content for Wine Category" in layouts, refresh the page and the filtering works perfectly.

Yes, it seems that this third-party template removes (overrides) the search query.

In this case, you need to customize the code of this template

Or  you can try this  code - https://products-filter.com/make-page-builders-and-custom-template-filterable
