We added to every product the brand name via attributes. We would like to engine this brand names in the search result, but thats not possible at the moment. At the moment the textsearch just goes through the description and short description but dosnt include the attributes. So if the customer make a textsearch with"brandname" no product will appear, because"brandname" is just added to the attributes and not in the description.

Yes. Text search does not work with attributes(categories and tags). Unfortunately, the plugin does not have such a feature
