AJAX filtering hides the filter and shows only chosen options

I have 4 filter options and AJAX enabled, but when I choose 1 option from one of the dropdowns I cannot choose others, it just shows me the one option I chose and refreshes the page. What should I do to make the filter show at all times, so I can chose multiple options from all the filter dropdowns and the filter does not go hidden after choosing the options?

The filter is available only in the backend at the moment. I´m sending some screenshots to illustrate my issue.
