Hello there,
this is a two point problem.
- We have a huge amount of products: about 35.000 different products, no variations. This means that the performance when using the step by step filter is quite low which does not support usability of the shop. This is why we activated the turbo mode but since then the step by step filter does not work anymore: I can only select the options from the first step. - After this Problem is solved, I would of course need to increase the limit of the maximum product data from 15.000 to 40.000 just to cover future additions. My question would be, where in my PHP-file I need to add the code snippet to achieve the increase.

I found out that with the turbo mode activated the step by step search funcionality only works when you refresh after every step.
We are currently trying something else on the site, so I would like to send you a message after we are done so you can test everything without anyone changing settings.

Try to reduce the number of taxonomies (terms) as much as possible. This way you will reduce the number of requests.
