Quote from NewClientOfWPCS on December 25, 2021, 22:40A few weeks ago, I purchased a license at Envato of this plugin... However... I am having some troubles, noticing some bugs and finding that some expected features are absent.
Let's start with my troubles: even I properly set up the 'welcome currency', the default currency always seems to be the US dollar.
An annoyance when I try to set up a fixed value, like [wpcs_price type='fixed' value='USD:15,GBP:45'][/wpcs_price] and then I add a new currency, like the Euro, I end up getting a 'none' indication among the values (I asume that in the absence of a fixed value, it drops that none value by default). I guess that before going to production, if I use fixed values, I have to plan in advance the currencies to be used (its just an annoyance going back to fill all the absent fixed values).
Also, I notice you can't add a single fixed value and get the rest floating... that would be the best case. I can imagine that you could have a welcome currency, your local currency, but one day you travel abroad and you paid in a foreign currency... it would be a must to be able to write a single fixed value, with another currency. In case of doubt, imagine my home currency is the British pound... and I travel to Europe, and I want to write down how much I paid exactly... it would be outstanding to write the fixed value in euros, and let it float for Pounds, Dollars and any other currency... a quick fix for this, would be to write the original price in euros and open a bracket... but it won't look as neat when you have something like 30€ (30€).
And by the way, I tried to use the geo targeted currencies, and with the code [wpcs_check_country][/wpcs_check_country] and apparently, it detects the uk... but it never ever changes the dollar as default... and if I delete the dollar as a currency? Well... I get pure 0.00...
Note: After writing my post, I discover that I was previously playing with some functions and shortcodes... one was the dropdown menu... in that drop menu, I think I left it with the dollar selected, then I stop playing with that function... so my guess about having 'by default' the dollar, it was because of this issue... could it be the case?

Quote from NewClientOfWPCS on December 26, 2021, 02:57And another problem I seem to have at the moment is... to force the prices shortcodes into the site... not every field seems to be shortcode friendly... any suggestions to tackle this? (without going deep into the code, using php to fix deep down the themes and all... I kinda want to minimise specific mods, so I can update everything with ease)

Of course, if you use fixed prices you should do so for all currencies
not every field seems to be shortcode friendly... - In this case, you should write to the authors of these fields
