I have the paid version.

I have a variable product called bra - and it has several sizes. I am trying to search on the sizes, but the filter with the attribute returns zero even if the WooCommerce attribute view shows hundreds of instances:

Detailed explanation:

I have tried to add a filter that is called : Bust Size- this if for a ladies bra size. The data is created correctly as product attribute bust-size. It is showing correctly in the product attribute view - and I can see items part of it (32A, 32B, 36C, etc). The problem is the search system is not returning anything matching this filter. All other filters are working, but if I display"bust size" it is blank. woof-filter

The only thing I can think of is that the sizes are in the child products of variable products, and not in the main product. Any filter returned in the main product or attribute pertaining to a main product seems to be OK - but attributes from child variations seem to not be found. How can I look at this? Is there a setting that excludes variable products?
