PRIVATE DATA!

  1. I have many specific category shop pages, for example Home Goods. The Home Goods page is set to show that category/those products labeled Home Goods. I want to list the product categories in the filter but I would like to remove categories that do not apply to the Home Goods page, such as Hats. I know you can remove categories from the filters which I have done for the Uncategorized filter for example. Is there a way to only show available products in the filter on category pages? Only show Home Goods category products in the filter on the Home Goods page?
  2. How do you change the loading Spin-SVG color?
  3. Is the best way to change the Ion Range Slider color in the Advanced tab --> Custom Css Code tab?
  4. Is there a way to put text such as"Filter Products" next to the blue icon of the magnifying glass and shirt?
  5. Is there a way to remove that blue icon on certain/specific shop pages easily?

Many thanks!

Hello

1 Yes. Please watch video - https://products-filter.com/video#beGT6p_look   Check options - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20220713093453.png - and this will work on category page

2

1) Navigate to the folder - woocommerce-products-filter\img\loading-master\

2) Find svg file that you need.

3) Change the color code. Example: http://clip2net.com/s/3ATaSUv

3 It does not matter. You can paste custom CSS code wherever you want.

4 add your text  in Design tab ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20220713094359.png and add CSS:

body .woof_show_auto_form, body .woof_hide_auto_form {
background-size: 32px;
width: 132px;
padding-left: 32px;
}

5 only with CSS

Hi,

Okay, thank you! I'm still having an issue with #1

  1. I already have Show Count, Dynamic Recount, and Hide Empty terms clicked to Yes. It still shows me empty categories. I switched them all off which was glitchy-didn't work smoothly, and then switched them back to Yes and it still doesn't work.

Hello

Ok!

I switched them all off which was glitchy-didn't work smoothly - I doubt it, it's just that some combinations are not acceptable and the script protects against incorrect settings

Please  drop  me  exact  link to the  issue.

Ok. This is one page of many: https://84l.e4c.myftpupload.com/home-goods

Many Product categories from the Product Type dropdown are there with counts that don't actually have results in the Home Goods section.

Hello

Please update  the  plugin to  latest  version - https://products-filter.com/how-to-make-auto-update-for-wordpress-plugins-and-themes-bought-on-envato

https://84l.e4c.myftpupload.com/home-goods  - This is not the category page. It's just a custom page like a blog, about us, contacts... Of course, on the simple custom page, the filter will show all elements because there is no information about the current category

Please use standard archive pages for categories and everything will work correctly. An  example - https://84l.e4c.myftpupload.com/product-category/home-goods/

Hi,

Ok, thank you. I was able to get most categories to work. I'm still having an issue with all the categories under the Shop by Identity tab, for example the category Lesbian does not show the product type. The product type works well for all the categories under the Shop by Category category. I can't figure out what is different or what should change.

I installed the update plugin app and it said my plugin was up to date.

Thank you for your help!

Hello

This is a very logical behavior. On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products   )

In another case this is not a filter - this menu

Hi,

OK. I don't understand what you are saying. Can you be specific?

How do I get the Lesbian product category to show the Product type/Categories on the filter?

Hello

Ok!  the product type is  the  product category

which products can be displayed on the category page?  the lesbian category page may display products from the gay category?

This is the whole point of category pages, this page can only show products that belong to the current category. everything is very simple inside the lesbian category there is no gay category.

how to show products from gay categories on lesbian category page? - no way! It's impossible.

Now about the filter.  What happens if products from the category of lesbians are filtered by the category of gays?  The result will always be zero products because there is no gay category inside the lesbian category.  For this reason, on the categories page, the filter does not show other categories - It makes no sense, it will always give a null result

Thank you, yes, that is all clear. But, in the Lesbian category, there ARE categories. Mugs, Notebooks, Swimwear. I'm trying to get those categories to show up in the filter.

Hello

Ok!

Mugs, Notebooks, Swimwear - These are child categories. If yes, then it should show up. You can drop  me  wp-admin access - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130558.png ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130637.png - I will  check  it

Ok, I added the login.

Hello

Ok! this category has no children - https://c2n.me/4gcARCw.png

for the correct organization of the store, I advise you to use the category (and in principle any taxonomy) for only one type of data.

An  example: IDENTITIES - use  categories.  Accessory types - use an  attribute(create new) or custom taxonomy( https://products-filter.com/create-custom-taxonomies-plugin ) .  Size - another  attribute,  Color - another  attribute

If you create many types of data in one taxonomy (in your case the category). You will have problems with logical operators when filtering.

An example:  if  you  search  by Lesbian and Swimwear - do you expect to get lesbian swimwear, but the result will be all lisbians and all swimsuits. Because your request will look like this: Get all products  where  category  is lesbian OR swimsuits.  This is only in human logic these are different data types, for machine logic it is the same data type and the search will use the logic"OR"

Thank you! Now it's making sense.
