Product filter logic is not working correctly

Hello! Currently, if I select 2 different categories, the filter shows me the items that fall under 2 of those categories. However, I need for it to narrow down the items that have both of those categories applied to them. For example, I want to show items that are LARGE and then narrow within the large items to show the ones that are red.
Currently, if I select large and red as category filters, it will show all units that fall under both of those categories but not the narrowed down version.
I have tried to change the logic for products from OR to AND and vice versa, however, it still behaves the same way. Cleared the cache
