Husky version: 3.3.2

Still doesn't work.
Have development version on staging server https://www.staging7.thecableguyaustralia.com/

Yellow = Active filter and correct items to show under filter
Pink = Random products that don't meet the filter conditions

Yes, I see. Looks like the 3rd party template always adds"Out of stock" products. Perhaps third-party developers have implemented the sorting of products by status in this way.
In this case, you need to disable this third-party feature
If you zoom out a little, you'll see additional items that are in stock still showing when the filter is applied.
The item in question is in a different category to the archive page that the screenshot was taken on.
