I have a store with auctions and fixed price items and I want to add a filter to the sidebar that allows users to choose whether they want to see auction items, fixed price, or both. I have not been able to create a meta filter correctly that will achieve this. Could you explain what I need to do?

Hello

Please  read this - https://products-filter.com/extencion/woocommerce-filter-by-meta-fields

Unfortunately, I don’t know this third-party plugin and I don’t know how it stores meta data.  But I guess you should use the checkbox as a metafilter, and  use  this  option - https://c2n.me/4dEABDA.png

Hello,

The meta data that I am trying to filter by is"product_type_auction" and"product_type_simple". All I want is a checkbox for each item that will filter the page by each product type. This is what I want it to look like, but I haven't been successful in making it work:

Hello

as far as I know the product type is not metadata. it's taxonomy

Does this mean that WOOF is not capable of creating this filter?

Hello

this means that you need to find out how the third-party plugin stores data. What meta fields does this plugin use.
