Hiding Atributes for Seleted Product Types/categories

When I use [woof] shortcode it shows all the category and attribute filters on the front end which is fine. But in this shop I want to hide or only show some of the attributes for certain categories. For example I am doing a garden machinery shop and for Lawn Mowers there is an attribute of Deck Size [pa_mower-deck-size] - how do I either build a search box specfically for Lawn Mowers or hide attributes that are not relevant. I would want to hide Deck Size [pa_mower-deck-size] attribute for chainsaw's but have a Blade size [pa_chainsaw-blade-size]

Sorry that is no help what I need is a simple solution whereby I can filter by 3 of the 6 sets of atributes - like so [woof pa_mower-propelled-option pa_mower-deck-size pa_kit-or-bare-tool-option] and not include all the other categories price and serach filters. Please give an exmaple of th code.
