Group color attribute to allow easier filtering

I have a lot of different colors in my shop. On the shop filter I see all the colors which is not what I want.
For example, I have 5 shades or red with different names like blush, rose, maroon, watermelon etc.
I want to group those colors under a parent color attribute “Red”, so when clicking on filter in the shop I only want to see the parent attributes to choose from. Filtering by “Red” will bring up all the shades of red.
Can this addon do that? Please advise on how to do it

Hello
attributes do not have a hierarchy therefore it is impossible to create a parent attribute
