I think I understand what this means but I need you to clarify clearly for me that I'm understanding correctly please -- I've always had just the one filter for my shop – "Filter by product" category, then using Product Tags for each product category under the filter.

However -- I now need a second filter -- 1) filter by product type, AND 2) filter by product category.

You seem to be saying this isn't possible.  I don't understand this because I see many websites with this functionality, it seems standard. Are you saying YES this is possible but NO -- WOOF product filter can't do this?  If so... do you have a filter that CAN do this, or can you possibly recommend one?

You also requested that I "renew support" — but I hope you're not asking me to pay for an answer for a plugin I've already paid for, that I am only using on one live website... apologies if I am misunderstanding what you mean here.

I have no problem watching the video but it's 45 minutes long -- so before I spend the time to do this, please can you look at this simple website I have mocked up to show you my question:

• In the shop page sidebar, you can see 3 main filters– 1) product, 2) occasion, and 3) color
• Underneath each filter there are SUB-CATEGORIES -- this is very important.
• It appears to me that the way the WOOF plugin works with widgets... ONLY ONE MAIN CATEGORY is possible -- (I don't see in the video where it is possible to have more than one filter with subcategories, perhaps you can direct me to where this is?)

In my current shop --

• I have only ONE CATEGORY (filter) with sub-categories (tags), set up per your original instructions like this:
  • WOOF widget -- snipboard.io/2EcKw4.jpg
  • WOOF plugin settings -- snipboard.io/nVG84X.jpg

 

Again -- I AM HAPPY TO PAY FOR SUPPORT -- but I must know that the plugin is capable of doing what I need first.

I am sorry for the CAPS and red text... but it seems like I am not being heard or understood. I want to give you money. I do NOT want free support. But I do need to know first.
