Can I Customize The URL When Filtering by Tag and Category?

Currently, when a visitor filters the WooCommerce story by tag, the following parameter is used in the URL: &product_tag

Is there a way I can customize this parameter? For example, &pet-food

The same request would apply to the product category filter too.

Current:
mywebsite.com/shop/?swoof=1&product_tag=mytagname&product_cat=mycategoryname

Desired:
mywebsite.com/shop/?swoof=1&pet-food=mytagname&pet-food-category=mycategoryname

Unfortunately the plugin does not have this feature.
