Hi,

I imported a lot of products (1000) with product characteristics.

By products I find the characteristics but they don't show up in the filter.

Can you help me with this problem?

Hello

I imported a lot of products (1000) with product characteristics. - These characteristics must be taxonomies

Describe in more detail how these characteristics look on your site

I have a webshop with tiles for outdoor.

One characteristic is Material
And the therms are: Basalt, Graniet, Keramiek etc

Other characteristic is Format (LxB)
And the therms are: 10x20 100x100 15x5 etc.

Is it taxonomies? If you find it difficult to answer this, give me a screenshot of how it is stored on the product side (product edit page)

Hi Pablo,

I send you by e-mail some screenshots at april 6.
Now I see it is a no reply mail account.

How can I send you the screenshots?

Hello

Use services to send images by link

Or  create  a custom  page  with  images  on  your  site and  drop me  the  link

You can find the images in this link:

https://www.opvallent.nl/woof/

Hello

Yes, it's taxonomy.

what version number of the plugin are you using?

Drop me  exact  link to  the  page  with  the  filter

Version: 2.2.6.1

http://wassenberg.testomgevingopvallent.nl/product-category/tuintegels/

You see the filter. But from the new products I imported the new information is not added to the filter.

http://wassenberg.testomgevingopvallent.nl/product/spotted-bluestone-anticato-60x60x3-cm-pakket-van-34-stuks/

This is an example from an imported product.

The taxonomy is: Materiaal: Chinees hardsteen.

But when you go to the category: Tuintegels:

http://wassenberg.testomgevingopvallent.nl/product-category/tuintegels/natuursteen-tegels/

You don't see"Chinees hardsteen" at the filter.

And I give you the private information.

Hello

Ok! I checked  it

https://c2n.me/4fsaSy9.png - This is not a taxonomy and there are no filters that will work with this attribute type

Please  use  taxonomies - https://share.pluginus.net/video/v20220418083620.mp4 - result - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20220418083645.png

Hi Pablo,

Why it is not a taxonomy?

I imported 1000 products with each 3 taxononies.

Must I change them all by hand?

And how can I import products with correct taxonomies?

I have to add some 5000 products more.

Greetings,

Astrid

Hi Pablo,

I found the problem:

By the taxonomy I had no global property and visible property.

I imported those coloms and no everything is working ok.

Thanks for helping me.

Together we fixed the problem.

Hello Astrid

Why it is not a taxonomy? - Because it's just text stored in product meta fields and it has nothing to do with taxonomy.

I imported 1000 products with each 3 taxononies. - You can see that it's not. Yes, you have created these taxonomies, but these taxonomies are not marked in products. So the problem is how you did the import

Must I change them all by hand? - I think you should do the import again but with the help of another import plugin or figure out the import settings.

OR try converting these meta fields to taxonomies.  Examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dZ5iuFrTaE  OR https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38943743/convert-woocommerce-custom-product-attributes-into-defined-product-attributes

And how can I import products with correct taxonomies? - My plugin is a filter and I have nothing to do with import plugins.
